Gary V. Powell's poem, "Perfume," was selected as a Honorable Mention for the Steve Kowit Poetry Prize and will appear in the 2021 San Diego Annual. Mr. Powell's short story "Communist," was a finalist for the 2020 Doris Betts Fiction Prize.
