Tasha has been carrying a notepad and pen everywhere since composing her first screenplay at age six. Granted, it was only 5 minutes long and she had to convince her father to be the cameraman, but eh, it counts! Her writing evolved from covering 4-H meetings for the local newspaper to graduating with a B.S. in Journalism from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She worked at several newspapers including The Courier in Findlay, Ohio, Sentinel-Tribune in Bowling Green, Ohio, and The Index-Journal in Greenwood, S.C. While working at the small “daily” in South Carolina, Tasha received a first place award from the South Carolina Press Association for a short feature story. Tasha has also been a copywriter for a web marketing company, a stage manager at The Warehouse Performing Arts Center in Cornelius, and The WordPlay Ninja for Maureen Ryan Griffin. She currently works as a contractor/quality consultant.  
 
In addition to maintaining the club website, Tasha tinkers with various forms of writing including short stories, playwriting and nonfiction. She is hoping to eventually research, write and publish her paternal family history. In addition to writing, Tasha enjoys reading works by other great authors, baking, and works to avoid tripping over her own feet on a daily basis.
