Kristin D. Sherman has been dabbling in fiction and creative nonfiction for the last decade. Her work has appeared in Novello's anthology Tis the Season, Flashquake, Pequin, Barrelhouse, and Brevity among others and as commentary on WFAE. She has placed first in the Charlotte Writer's Elizabeth Simpson Short Fiction contest and the Writers Workshop Memoirs contest, and been a finalist in the Reynolds Price Short Fiction Contest, the Doris Betts Short Fiction Contest, and the River Styx Microfiction contest, and received an Editor's Choice Award from Lunch Hour Stories.

Kristin is currently working on a memoir and several short stories.
