September 20 - Kevin Morgan Watson
The founder and editor-in-chief of Press 53, based in Winston-Salem, will talk about independent publishing.

October 18 - Susan Hasler
The author will discuss her recently released novel, Intelligence, based on her experience working as a CIA analyst.

November 15 - Lawrence Toppman
The arts reviewer for The Charlotte Observer will share his views on reviewing and the arts scene in our area.

December 13 - Ruth Moose
This poet and short story writer will read from her newest book, The Librarian, and other works.

January 17, 2012 - Selected Members Reading
Members of the Charlotte Writers’ Club will share their work.

February 21 - International Best-selling Author Jeffery Deaver

March 20 - Annual Critique Groups Powwow
Charlotte Writers’ Club members involved in critique groups will gather to discuss and connect.

April 17 - Dorianne Laux and Joseph Millar will help us celebrate National Poetry Month.
Also, winners of the Anthony Abbott Undergraduate Poetry Competition will read their poems.

May 15 - Valerie Nieman
Valerie will read from her new novel, Blood Clay, “a true-to-life, sensitive and gripping piece of fiction.”
